A New Chapter Begins
Over the past few years, Serenity Sensory Music has grown beyond anything I could have imagined. What started as a passion for supporting children and adults through music has developed into a thriving community of families, educational settings, care providers, and individuals who share a belief in the power of music to nurture wellbeing, communication, confidence, and connection.
As Serenity Sensory Music continues to grow, I am delighted to announce that some exciting changes are coming to the website over the coming months.
Why Am I Making Changes?
My current website has served me well, but as the services, resources, and educational opportunities available through Serenity Sensory Music have expanded, it has become clear that the website needs to grow too.
My goal is to create a website that is easier to navigate, more informative, and packed with valuable resources for parents, carers, educators, and professionals.
Most importantly, I want the website to reflect the heart of Serenity Sensory Music and make it easier for people to access the support and information they need.
What's Coming?
Over the coming months, visitors may notice changes appearing across different areas of the website as new content is added and existing sections are refreshed.
Some of the exciting additions planned include:
Enhanced Information About Sessions
Clearer information about the different sensory music sessions available, including sessions for:
• Babies and toddlers
• Children with additional needs
• Autism and ADHD support
• Adults with additional needs
• Educational settings
• Residential care homes
• Community groups
A New Resource Hub
One of the biggest additions will be a growing collection of downloadable resources designed to support learning, wellbeing, and sensory development.
These resources will include:
• Parent guides
• Activity packs
• Sensory play ideas
• Musical games
• Educational materials
• Practical support resources
• Weekly eBooks
Online Courses
I am also excited to begin developing online courses that will allow parents, carers, educators, and professionals to learn more about the therapeutic benefits of music and sensory experiences.
These courses will provide practical knowledge that can be used at home, in schools, care settings, and support environments.
A New Blog
Regular blog posts will be added throughout the year, sharing seasonal activities, sensory play ideas, music-based learning opportunities, and practical advice for supporting wellbeing through music.
These blogs will also follow my weekly sensory themes, helping families continue their sensory music journey between sessions.
Improved Booking and Contact Information
The new website will make it easier than ever to find information, enquire about services, purchase resources, and book sessions.
My Timeline
Website improvements will begin rolling out from November 2025 onwards.
The project will be completed in stages, allowing new content and resources to be added gradually while ensuring everything remains easy to use and accessible.
My aim is to have the full new website completed and fully operational by June 2026.
Looking Towards the Future
As I continue working through my Music Therapy Diploma, I am passionate about expanding the ways in which people can access sensory music support.
Whether through face-to-face sessions, educational resources, downloadable guides, online courses, or blog content, my aim remains the same: to make sensory music accessible, enjoyable, and beneficial for as many people as possible.
The new website will become a central hub for all of these opportunities and resources.
Thank You for Being Part of the Journey
None of this would be possible without the incredible families, schools, organisations, and individuals who have supported Serenity Sensory Music along the way.
Your encouragement, feedback, and trust have helped shape the direction of this business, and I am incredibly grateful for every person who has attended a session, shared a recommendation, downloaded a resource, or simply followed along on social media.
This next chapter is all about creating even more opportunities for learning, connection, wellbeing, and musical joy.
I cannot wait to share the journey with you.
Thank you for being part of the Serenity Sensory Music community.
Warm wishes,
Laura Seymour
