Supported Living & Residential Care Visits

Coming Soon

Do your residents LOVE music?

Do your residents enjoy relaxing?

Do your residents deserve some special entertainment?

WONDERFUL!!

Serenity Sensory Music can now travel to you at your residential home.

Book Serenity Sensory Music and treat your staff and residents to an enjoyable, relaxing musical interlude.

During the visit you will have exclusive use of the Serenity Sensory Music equipment, all instruments, bubbles and disco lights.

Please note that I require a room which can be made relatively dark (in order for the lights to be most effective - for example: curtains / blinds drawn) which also has access to electricity / mains plugs.

All of my instruments and equipment are insured, and I hold an enhanced DBS check.

My job is to:

  • provide and perform beautiful, relaxing music for your staff and residents,

  • allow the residents to explore the tactile instruments,

  • set up a number of disco lights so that the residents and staff can enjoy the colourful display of lights bouncing around the venue / room,

  • provide a joyful, social experience in which the residents can be creative and have fun with those around them.

Key findings from clinical studies have shown that music therapy may be helpful for people with depression and anxiety, sleep disorders, and even cancer.

On its own, sensory music sessions and therapeutic music making may not constitute adequate treatment for medical conditions, including mental health disorders. However, when combined with medication, psychotherapy, and other interventions, it can be a valuable component of a treatment plan.
